Accounts Payable Coordinator I – Pharma Accounts | Gurgaon
Job Summary:
Syneos Health is hiring an Accounts Payable Coordinator I for its Gurgaon office. This role is ideal for finance professionals with 1 to 3 years of experience in payment processing, reconciliation, and Oracle ERP systems. You'll be responsible for managing AP tasks including invoice auditing, vendor communications, and ensuring timely payments in a multinational, multi-currency environment. Key Responsibilities:
Process and validate payments across multiple formats (check, ACH, wires)
Run payment batches (PPR), monitor statuses, and resolve payment errors
Assist with payment file validation and format testing (e.g., NACHA, SEPA)
Upload and reconcile bank statements; match payments to transactions
Handle aged creditor balances and credit collection
Respond to invoice and payment inquiries via shared mailboxes
Maintain invoice records per SOPs and Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls
Support month-end closing activities and prepare accruals
Review and escalate payment exceptions and on-hold documents
Update SOPs, learning logs, and process documentation as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or related field
1–3 years of prior accounts payable experience, especially in payment processing
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level or above)
Experience working in multi-currency environments
Strong communication and organizational skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial operations
Preferred: Experience using Oracle ERP systems
Ability to resolve queries and reconcile accounts independently
