Position Overview

Syneos Health is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Coordinator I to join our Gurugram team. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and processing invoices, managing billing data, and ensuring timely and accurate communication with internal teams and clients.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in invoicing, cash application, and ERP systems, with the ability to manage multi-currency transactions and support cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare invoice packages from consolidated monthly data, including pivot tables and scanned backup documentation.

  • Route invoice packages to Project Managers for review and approval.

  • Generate pass-through and investigator invoices using Oracle ERP.

  • Create and organize PDF invoice packages, storing all invoices, summaries, and backup documentation.

  • Send invoices to clients via email or physical delivery as required.

  • Update and maintain the Billing Repository with approved invoice numbers, cost checks, and changes.

  • Address invoice-related queries from operations teams or clients promptly.

  • Identify and report corrections requiring journal entries, including project-to-project recodes and non-rechargeable costs.

  • Process credits, rebills, and other adjustments accurately.

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and audit readiness standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in invoicing, accounts receivable, or cash application roles.

  • Knowledge of invoice generation, credit memo processing, and billing procedures.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level or higher).

  • Experience working with ERP systems; Oracle ERP experience is a plus.

  • Ability to manage multi-currency transactions and communicate effectively with international colleagues/clients.

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in all tasks.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
