Position Summary
The Analyst, Clinical Biosample Operations supports Biosample Operations Leads in the operational implementation and execution of translational medicine strategies across assigned clinical trials.
The role is responsible for coordinating biosample management activities, supporting biobanking operations, ensuring compliance with clinical research standards, and contributing to the successful execution of clinical studies.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Biosample Management
Support Biosample Operations Leads in executing biosample strategies for clinical trials.
Coordinate collection, tracking, shipment, and management of clinical biosamples.
Monitor biosample-related activities throughout study lifecycles.
Ensure compliance with study protocols and biosample handling procedures.
Biobanking Support
Assist with biobanking operations and sample inventory management.
Support sample storage, retrieval, and documentation processes.
Ensure data accuracy and traceability of biospecimens.
Operational Excellence
Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.
Support issue resolution related to biosample logistics and operations.
Maintain study documentation and operational records.
Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Compliance & Quality
Ensure adherence to:
ICH-GCP Guidelines
Clinical Operations SOPs
Regulatory and quality requirements
Support audit readiness and inspection preparedness.
Data & Reporting
Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
Utilize tracking systems and databases to maintain sample-related data.
Analyze operational metrics and identify trends.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in:
Biology
Pharmaceutical Sciences
Life Sciences
Related Scientific Discipline
OR
Master's Degree in:
Biology
Pharmaceutical Sciences
Life Sciences
Related Scientific Discipline
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of operational experience in one or more of the following:
Clinical Trials
Biosample Management
Clinical Research Operations
Translational Medicine Support
Experience working in:
