Analytical Scientist – Formulation R&D (Parenteral)
Job Summary
Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories is seeking an experienced Analytical Scientist for its Formulation R&D department in Hyderabad. This role involves planning and executing analytical projects, including method development, validation, stability testing, and supporting regulatory submissions. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in analytical development, familiarity with global standards such as AOAC and BIS, and a passion for driving excellence in pharmaceutical research.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage analytical projects ensuring timely delivery of stability testing and method validation.
Prepare and review technical documents such as stability reports, method transfer and validation protocols.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including project leaders, product development, and external labs.
Optimize resource utilization and enhance productivity in analytical activities.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
Review lab notebooks, raw data, and system entries for completeness and correctness.
Resolve laboratory non-conformances and document corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Support training of external lab staff and ensure method transfer compliance.
Conduct risk assessments and provide technical guidance to the product development team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Master’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or B.Tech/M.Tech in Dairy Technology.
10–15 years of experience in analytical development within the pharmaceutical or nutritional product sector.
Strong expertise in analytical techniques, stability studies, and method validation.
Familiarity with AOAC, BIS, and other international analytical standards.
Excellent knowledge of GLP, SOPs, and global regulatory guidelines.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to interpret analytical data and resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent communication, team management, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving ability with a focus on continuous improvement.
