Area Sales Manager – Peritoneal Dialysis (Northern & BKK), Bangkok, Thailand
Job Summary
Vantive is looking for a dynamic Area Sales Manager – Peritoneal Dialysis to lead and manage a sales team covering Northern Thailand and Bangkok. This pivotal role focuses on achieving sales targets, developing strategic plans, building lasting relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), and driving the success of Vantive’s Peritoneal Dialysis product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have extensive healthcare sales experience, strong leadership abilities, and deep understanding of the regional dialysis market.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Management:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to exceed targets.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 8 sales representatives.
Monitor sales performance and implement improvement plans.
Conduct field visits for performance assessment and coaching.
Set clear sales objectives aligned with corporate goals.
Manage sales budgets and resources efficiently.
Forecast sales and deliver reports to senior management.
Recruit, train, and onboard new sales staff.
Customer Engagement:
Build and nurture relationships with key HCPs (physicians, pharmacists, hospital administrators).
Identify and engage key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the dialysis space.
Organize product presentations and educational sessions for HCPs.
Resolve customer inquiries and service issues promptly.
Represent Vantive at conferences and healthcare events.
Analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities.
Marketing & Promotional Activities:
Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotional strategies.
Equip the sales team with updated marketing materials and knowledge.
Analyze competitor activities and provide feedback to marketing teams.
Ensure compliance with industry guidelines and company policies.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure adherence to company SOPs and healthcare compliance regulations.
Maintain accurate sales records and submit reports on performance and market trends.
Uphold ethical conduct across all sales activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Pharmacy, Nursing Science, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the healthcare industry.
At least 3 years in a Sales Managerial role with proven people management skills.
Deep understanding of sales strategy, marketing, and portfolio management.
Strong market knowledge and customer-focused approach.
Willingness to travel to upcountry locations.
Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficient in English (spoken and written).
Own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
