The Pharma Daily is inviting applications for the position of Associate Healthcare Research & Data Analyst to join a growing Medtech Insights team in Bengaluru. This opportunity is ideal for early-career professionals seeking to build expertise in medical device market research, healthcare data analytics, forecasting, and consulting.

The selected candidate will contribute to syndicated market research reports, custom advisory projects, and data-driven insights supporting global medical device and healthcare companies.

Experience Required

0–1 year of relevant experience in healthcare research, life sciences analytics, medical device research, or market research.
Strong academic exposure to healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical domains.
Internship or project experience in healthcare analytics, forecasting, or consulting is advantageous.

Educational Qualifications

B.Tech / Master’s degree (MA, MS in Life Sciences) / MBA / Pharm D / PhD in relevant disciplines.
Educational background in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or Healthcare Management preferred.

Core Skills and Competencies

Knowledge of healthcare and medical device market research methodologies.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and structured data organization.
Strong analytical thinking and quantitative reasoning abilities.
Excellent written and presentation communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Business acumen to support sales initiatives and stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Skills:
Understanding of U.S. healthcare or medical device markets.
Exposure to healthcare forecasting, consulting, or market modeling.
Creative problem-solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a subject matter contributor in cardiovascular and other medical device markets.
Conduct primary research by interviewing industry experts and healthcare professionals.
Utilize proprietary research databases to generate client-ready insights.
Analyze financial reports, regulatory filings, and government publications for market intelligence.
Develop healthcare and medical device market forecasts using macroeconomic and micro-level drivers.
Build and manage structured datasets for market modeling and competitive analysis.
Identify trends, patterns, and outliers using time-series analysis and visualization tools.
Translate qualitative insights into quantitative market models.
Prepare comprehensive research reports and presentations based on data analysis and forecasts.
Support business development activities and manage client engagements.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge development initiatives.

About the Team

The Medtech Insights team operates within a data-driven healthcare analytics environment, delivering actionable intelligence to global medical device organizations. The team collaborates across functions and contributes subject-matter expertise to broader strategic initiatives within the healthcare and life sciences sector.

Work Schedule

40 hours per week.
Hybrid work model (Monday to Friday).
Based in Bengaluru, India.
