Job Overview
Biostatistician I supports the Lead Biostatistician and senior team in statistical planning, analysis, and reporting of clinical trials. This role involves contributing to project deliverables, maintaining quality standards, and assisting with programming and statistical activities under supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Statistical Planning & Analysis:
Prepare or assist in preparing Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) and mock-up displays for tables, listings, and figures.
Review annotated CRFs, database design, and other study documentation to ensure data completeness and protocol compliance.
Assist with randomization, sample size estimation, and other statistical responsibilities.
Collaboration & Support:
Collaborate with sponsors and cross-functional teams as needed.
Provide statistical programming support when required.
Act as a back-up for the Lead Biostatistician for assigned projects, including sponsor communication.
Quality & Compliance:
Conduct verification and quality control of project deliverables to ensure consistency with SAPs and programming specifications.
Follow SOPs, WIs, and relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH).
Maintain organized, up-to-date project documentation for inspection readiness.
Project Management & Communication:
Manage time and scheduling across multiple projects.
Adapt workload based on priority changes.
Prepare for meetings, contribute ideas, and respect team input.
Other Duties:
Assist with projects and initiatives as needed.
Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
Minimal travel may be required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Graduate degree in Biostatistics or related discipline.
Experience: Minimal clinical trial experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills & Knowledge:
Knowledge of statistical design and analysis methodologies
Ability to apply statistical principles to clinical research
Programming experience preferred (clinical trial environment advantageous)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
