About the Job:

Sanofi Global Hub is a centralized internal organization in India supporting multiple global Sanofi departments, including R&D, Medical Affairs, CHC, Vaccines, General Medicines, and more. The Biostatistician will work with global Medical Affairs biostatisticians and internal programming teams to conduct statistical analyses and prepare quality-controlled data outputs (e.g., tables, figures, listings) used for publications such as posters, abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts.


Main Responsibilities:

People & Collaboration

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with global stakeholders (Medical Affairs) and local teams within the designated business unit or product line.

  • Collaborate closely with Sanofi’s biostatistics and programming teams for statistical deliverables.

Performance & Process

  • Conduct post-hoc statistical analyses of clinical trial data.

  • Design, develop, implement, and document statistical programming using software like SAS.

  • Generate well-documented and accurate data packages including tables, listings, and figures.

  • Follow quality control (QC) plans and meet timelines as defined by senior statisticians.

  • Review biomedical and clinical research literature relevant to assigned projects.

Customer & Communication

  • Partner with Global Medical Affairs Biostatisticians to identify statistical analysis needs and deliver appropriate outputs.


About You:

Experience

  • M.Sc. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or Epidemiology with 3–6 years of experience
    OR
    Ph.D. in the same with 2–3 years of experience in biostatistical analysis in the pharmaceutical industry.

Soft Skills

  • Effective stakeholder management.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Comfortable working independently and in cross-functional teams.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority deadlines.

  • High proficiency in statistical methodologies used in pharma/clinical research.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced SAS programming experience.

  • Expertise in CDISC standards including SDTM and ADaM.

  • Familiarity with other statistical software and tools used in clinical data analysis across multiple therapeutic areas.

Education

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or Epidemiology.

Languages

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
