Role Summary
Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Quality Analyst to support quality assurance, regulatory compliance, audit management, and quality improvement initiatives within a clinical laboratory environment. The role focuses on maintaining inspection readiness, supporting accreditation requirements, and improving laboratory quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Metrics & Reporting
Analyze monthly and quarterly quality metrics
Assist in preparing quality reports and trend analyses
Monitor quality management system performance
Quality Management System Support
Support laboratory quality improvement initiatives
Assist in maintaining the regional laboratory quality management system
Monitor electronic quality systems and tracking tools
Documentation & Systems Administration
Serve as site administrator for:
Document control systems
IQE applications in MediaLab
Manage:
Competency tracking
Training records
Metric tracking systems
Nonconforming event systems
Audits & Inspections
Schedule and conduct internal quality audits
Prepare audit reports for assigned departments/facilities
Assist during external inspections and audits by:
CAP
CMS
ISO 15189
Other regulatory agencies
Help maintain continuous inspection readiness
Regulatory Compliance
Stay updated on regulatory and accreditation requirements
Assist with:
Licensure applications
Accreditation renewals
Compliance activities
Quality Investigations & CAPA
Assist in investigations for:
Nonconforming events
Complaints
Quality deviations
Support:
Root cause analysis
Corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Effectiveness checks
Risk assessments
FMEA activities
Training & Meetings
Assist in staff training on quality-related topics
Participate in monthly quality meetings
Prepare meeting minutes
Administrative Support
Perform clerical and administrative duties as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Associate’s degree in:
Chemical Science
Biological Science
Clinical Laboratory Science
Medical Technology
Experience
Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory testing experience in a:
CLIA laboratory
CAP-accredited laboratory
Preferred Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in:

1+ year of quality-related experience in a CLIA/CAP laboratory
