About the Role

LabCorp is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our Franklin, Wisconsin team on the 3rd shift. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume laboratory environment, contributing to LabCorp’s mission of “Improving Health, Improving Lives.” As a 3rd shift technologist, you will perform routine and complex laboratory testing, ensuring accurate and timely results for patient care.

Work Schedule:

  • 3rd Shift: Flexible scheduling 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM or 10:00 PM – 8:30 AM

  • Rotating schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off, Wednesday – Tuesday

  • Rotating holidays


Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the acceptability of specimens for testing in accordance with established criteria.

  • Perform routine and advanced laboratory procedures following departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure accurate functionality and results.

  • Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls.

  • Report precise and timely test results to ensure high-quality patient care.

  • Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.

  • Monitor and replenish laboratory supplies as necessary.

  • Assist in specimen processing as needed.

  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or equivalent degree meeting CLIA & State regulations.

  • Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience required at the Technologist level.

  • ASCP or AMT certification preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Proficiency with computers; familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication.

  • Must pass standardized color vision testing.

  • Flexibility to work overtime or alternative shifts as needed.

  • Required seasonal flu vaccination.
