🎯 Job Overview:

Fortrea is seeking a visionary Clinical Neurology Leader (MD), FSP to drive innovation, shape strategy, and lead neurology programs through clinical phase II-III trials to global product registration. This role oversees cross-functional, multinational teams, serves as the primary medical expert, and represents the company at regulatory, scientific, and industry forums.


🌟 Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Clinical & Strategic Leadership

  • Lead the Clinical Development (CD) Team through neurology phase II-III trials and global product registration.

  • Serve as primary medical expert for neurology programs; guide protocol design, regulatory interactions, and scientific engagement.

  • Conduct ongoing risk-benefit assessments of compounds until approval.

  • Analyze incoming clinical data and initiate appropriate actions or decisions.

  • Mentor and inspire a team of medical directors and scientific staff across global regions.

  • Communicate medical project and study strategy, results, and clinical project outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Represent Fortrea at industry conferences, advisory boards, and regulatory meetings.

  • Undertake additional duties as required.


🎓 Qualifications & Requirements:

  • MD with board certification in neurology or extensive CNS clinical experience.

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in neurology therapeutic area, with substantial drug development and clinical research experience in pharma or CRO settings.

  • 3+ years managing neurodegenerative disease-focused investigational programs; experience with registration trials and MAA/NDA submissions preferred.

  • Proven leadership experience in clinical development within CRO or biopharma.

  • Deep understanding of neurology drug development, trial design, and regulatory pathways.

  • Strategic thinking, scientific rigor, and collaborative spirit.


Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Office-based with exposure to electrical office equipment.

  • Occasional domestic and international travel; occasional drives to site locations.

  • Frequently stationary 6–8 hours/day.

  • Repetitive hand movements; occasional crouching, stooping, bending, and twisting.

  • Ability to access and use variety of computer software.

  • Light to moderate lifting 15–20 lbs.

  • Regular attendance; varied hours may be required.

💰 Compensation & Benefits:

  • Pay Range: USD $250,000–$300,000
