Clinical Research Nurse I – San Antonio, TX (On-site, Day Shift)
Job Summary:
ICON plc is seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Nurse I to support our clinical trials in San Antonio, Texas. This is a full-time, permanent on-site position, scheduled Friday through Sunday during daytime hours. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and implement clinical trial activities in compliance with protocols and regulatory guidelines
Perform patient assessments, administer treatments, and ensure clinical protocol adherence
Accurately document data in eCRFs and clinical databases
Collaborate with investigators and multidisciplinary teams to support trial execution
Educate and counsel study participants and families regarding procedures and treatment plans
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Active RN license in Texas or applicable jurisdiction
1–2 years of clinical nursing experience, ideally with exposure to clinical trials
Strong understanding of GCP and ICH regulatory guidelines
Skilled in EMR systems, documentation, and patient data entry
Excellent clinical judgment, organizational skills, and communication abilities
