Clinical Research Nurse I – On-site (San Antonio, TX | Night Shift)
ICON plc, a global leader in healthcare intelligence and clinical research, is hiring a Clinical Research Nurse I for a full-time, on-site position based in San Antonio, TX. This weekend night shift role is ideal for compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurses looking to transition into or expand within the field of clinical research.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with planning, coordination, and implementation of clinical research studies per protocol and SOPs
Conduct patient assessments, administer treatments, and perform protocol-specific clinical procedures
Ensure accurate documentation of vital signs, adverse events, and clinical notes in eCRFs
Collaborate with investigators, coordinators, and regulatory staff for trial execution and compliance
Educate and counsel study participants on protocols, procedures, and consent processes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
BSN degree from an accredited institution and valid RN license
1–2 years of clinical nursing experience (preferably in a research or academic setting)
Familiarity with clinical trials and GCP/ICH guidelines
Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond to patient needs effectively
Proficiency in EMR systems and data entry with high attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
