Job Overview
The Clinical Sales Specialist – Structural Heart is responsible for delivering clinical and sales support within a defined territory, focusing on structural heart interventions and cardiovascular medical devices. The role involves training healthcare professionals, supporting interventional procedures, and providing technical expertise to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

This position supports structural heart therapies, including congenital heart defect solutions such as atrial septal defects (ASD), patent ductus arteriosus (PDA), ventricular septal defects (VSD), and patent foramen ovale (PFO). The role requires strong clinical knowledge, customer engagement capabilities, and technical expertise in cardiovascular therapies and interventional cardiology.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical and Procedural Support
Provide clinical and technical support to physicians and healthcare professionals during structural heart procedures.
Deliver procedure coverage, troubleshooting assistance, and in-service training for structural heart products.
Train interventional cardiologists, catheter laboratory staff, and clinical teams on the use of medical devices and treatment technologies.

Customer Education and Relationship Management
Educate healthcare providers on product features, clinical benefits, and appropriate use of structural heart solutions.
Communicate clinical data, therapy updates, and technological advancements to customers.
Engage with existing and prospective healthcare providers to assess clinical needs and provide tailored solutions.

Sales and Territory Collaboration
Collaborate with territory managers to ensure effective case coverage and improved clinical outcomes.
Support product adoption and implementation strategies through clinical engagement and education initiatives.
Assist in the development and execution of product marketing and market development strategies.

Clinical Knowledge and Market Insights
Participate in clinical, procedural, and technical discussions with stakeholders.
Translate clinical outcomes and product data into key value messaging.
Maintain awareness of industry trends, clinical advancements, and structural heart treatment technologies.

Role Scope and Travel Requirements
This role may be offered at different levels based on candidate experience.
Travel requirements may exceed 50% within the assigned territory.

Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred: Degree in life sciences or medical training such as Registered Nurse (RN), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), perfusionist, or related clinical discipline.

Experience Requirements
Minimum 9+ years of cardiovascular or related healthcare experience.
At least 3+ years of specialized experience in structural heart interventions or electrophysiology clinical support.
Experience supporting interventional cardiology or cardiac surgery procedures is highly preferred.

Required Skills and Competencies
Strong clinical orientation and ability to support complex cardiovascular procedures.
Knowledge of structural heart therapies and interventional cardiology technologies.
Ability to influence and communicate effectively with clinicians and healthcare professionals.
Understanding of echocardiography and indirect imaging techniques is preferred.
Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple clinical priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: USD 78,000 to USD 156,000 annually, depending on experience and location.
