Job Overview
IQVIA, a global leader in clinical research, healthcare analytics, and life sciences technology, is seeking a Clinical Trial Psychiatric Rater (Gujarati Speaking) to support global clinical trials in psychiatry and central nervous system (CNS) therapeutic areas.
This remote, part-time role is ideal for experienced mental health professionals with hands-on expertise in psychiatric rating scales, structured interviews, and clinical trial assessments, who are fluent in Gujarati and English and interested in contributing to high-quality clinical research.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in required orientation, rater training, and calibration sessions
Review subject case data and prepare documentation for rater discussions
Conduct scheduled rater interactions and provide real-time feedback on scoring accuracy and methodology
Evaluate the quality, consistency, and compliance of psychiatric assessments
Support rater training through mock interviews and calibration exercises
Ensure all study-related documentation is completed accurately and within defined timelines
Maintain compliance with study protocols, regulatory standards, and quality guidelines
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education:
Master’s degree (MA/MS) in Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing, Social Work, or an equivalent discipline
MD, DO, or PhD in a related field is preferred
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience administering psychiatric rating scales and structured clinical interviews
At least 3 years of clinical experience working with psychiatric patient populations
3+ years of experience conducting assessments within clinical research trials (excluding graduate or doctoral training)
Hands-on experience with scales such as EQ-5D-5L (Interviewer-Administered and Proxy versions) and smRS
Prior experience in CNS clinical trials is highly desirable
Skills and Competencies
Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
Language Requirements
Fluent in English
Native-level proficiency in Gujarati (mandatory)
