Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Specialist / Stroke Rater – Odiya Speaking to support stroke-focused clinical trials and healthcare research programs. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting standardized stroke assessments, reviewing clinical evaluations, and ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all rating activities.

This role is ideal for healthcare professionals with prior experience in stroke patient care, neurological assessments, and clinical trial processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer validated stroke assessment scales including:
    • Modified Rankin Scale (mRS)
    • EQ-5D-5L
  • Review and evaluate assessments conducted by other raters to ensure scoring accuracy and protocol compliance.
  • Conduct live discussions and provide professional feedback regarding scoring methodologies and assessment techniques.
  • Participate in training sessions, orientation programs, certification activities, and calibration exercises.
  • Review patient case information and supporting documentation before scheduled rater interactions.
  • Complete all assigned assessments, reviews, and required documentation within defined timelines.
  • Assist in mock interviews and functional performance assessments for raters when required.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical quality, data consistency, and regulatory compliance throughout the trial process.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree (MA/MS) in:
    • Medicine
    • Neurology
    • Psychology
    • Or a related healthcare field

Preferred Qualification:

  • MD, DO, or PhD in a relevant discipline
