Role Overview

The Clinical Studies Specialist Coordinator II supports clinical studies by managing data, documents, and administrative processes. This role ensures data quality, study compliance, and effective document coordination while providing occasional guidance to junior or entry-level staff.


Key Responsibilities

Data Coordination:

  • Develop and test case report forms, study reports, and study databases according to protocol requirements.

  • Verify study data for accuracy and completeness.

  • Generate, manage, and resolve data discrepancies.

  • Process compensation and resolve any compensation-related discrepancies.

Document Coordination:

  • Create and maintain clinical study files.

  • Organize and distribute study documents.

  • Assist with periodic audits of clinical study files for completeness and accuracy.

Office Support / Administrative:

  • Perform routine clerical and administrative tasks under moderate supervision.

  • Check and make minor adjustments to work methods to solve routine problems.

  • Communicate effectively with internal contacts and provide explanations or interpretations as needed.

Leadership / Guidance:

  • May provide guidance and assistance to new or entry-level employees.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Full knowledge of relevant systems and procedures, obtained through prior work experience or education.

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in clinical studies or clinical operations.

  • Strong organizational, documentation, and data verification skills.

  • Ability to work independently while following standard procedures.
