Position Summary:
The Clinical System Administrator II supports clinical systems administration including user access management, study/site setup, data entry, and system modifications across platforms like Veeva Clinical Vault, Medidata CTMS, eTMF, IRT, and EDC systems. This role works closely with Clinical Systems Management and project teams to ensure timely deliverables and user support.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage user access for internal, sponsor, and third-party users on clinical systems.
Enter and update data in the Global Directory for sites, institutions, countries, and studies.
Create and maintain clinical studies, countries, and sites within clinical systems.
Troubleshoot help desk tickets and resolve system issues.
Perform system modifications such as updates to picklists and field requirements.
Review clinical system processes and procedures.
Support integrations between clinical systems and Electronic Data Capture (EDC).
Perform archival tasks as requested.
Assist leads/managers with ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
Degree or equivalent experience in business, scientific, or healthcare discipline.
2 years of clinical trial experience.
2 years’ experience working with Clinical Systems.
Other Required:
Experience with clinical trial systems (CTMS, EDC, eTMF, RTMS) including requirements gathering, documentation, configuration, and integrations.
Preferred:
Strong communication skills for interacting with end-users, vendors, and management.
Ability to convey business needs effectively to IT partners.
Skills:
Independent problem-solving with sound judgment for escalation.
Quick learner for new systems and integration requirements.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
