Job Overview
The Co-ordinator – Food Schemes will be responsible for managing and monitoring certification and audit processes from application review to certificate issuance, ensuring timely execution and compliance with defined turnaround times (TAT). The role requires strong coordination skills, process tracking capabilities, and stakeholder communication to maintain operational efficiency within food safety and certification schemes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor end-to-end processes from application review to certificate issuance within defined turnaround timelines.

  • Allocate files to technical reviewers based on relevant schemes and defined timelines.

  • Track review status and send regular reminders to technical reviewers for timely completion.

  • Monitor audit report submissions and follow up with auditors on pending deliverables.

  • Coordinate with clients to obtain Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) reports as required by applicable standards or schemes.

  • Maintain and update client trackers for certification schemes such as BRCGS, ISO 22000, FSSC, and second-party audits.

  • Demonstrate strong ownership, management capability, and communication skills to ensure process accuracy and efficiency.

  • Prepare monthly performance reports and process summaries.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Life Sciences, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in certification coordination, food safety schemes, audit management, or compliance operations.

  • Strong communication skills with excellent written and spoken English proficiency.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.

  • Result-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to implement new ideas, methodologies, and process improvements.
