Job Overview
Velocity Clinical Research is hiring an EDC Coordinator (Electronic Data Capture) to support clinical trial data management, data validation, and regulatory compliance.
This role is ideal for professionals looking to build expertise in clinical data management, EDC systems, and quality control in clinical trials. You will ensure accurate data entry, query resolution, and adherence to GCP and regulatory standards, playing a critical role in maintaining data integrity for drug development.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Data Management & EDC Operations
Configure and support EDC systems for clinical trials
Assist site staff with accurate data entry and validation checks
Monitor and resolve data queries and discrepancies
Data Quality & Validation
Perform data cleaning and quality control activities
Ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency of clinical data
Maintain high standards of data integrity and audit readiness
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure adherence to ICH-GCP, FDA, and sponsor requirements
Support compliance with IRB guidelines and clinical trial protocols
Maintain secure handling of clinical and patient data
System Support & Troubleshooting
Identify and resolve EDC system issues
Escalate technical issues to IT teams or vendors when required
Optimize workflows for data collection and reporting
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with clinical research teams, sponsors, and IT teams
Support data reporting, system improvements, and process optimization
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education & Experience
High School Diploma (required)
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences / Healthcare / Clinical Research – preferred
1–2 years experience in clinical research, healthcare, or lab settings
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of clinical trial data collection and EDC systems
Knowledge of ICH-GCP, FDA regulations, and IRB processes
Familiarity with data validation, query management, and data cleaning
Core Competencies
