Optum NY (formerly Optum Tri-State NY) is seeking a skilled Dermatologist to join our team in Yorktown Heights, NY. As a clinician-led organization, Optum is redefining healthcare delivery, providing clinicians with the autonomy, resources, and support needed to deliver exceptional patient care.

As a Dermatologist at Optum, you will leverage advanced clinical resources and data-driven insights to enhance skin health, treat complex dermatologic conditions, and contribute to innovative care practices across New York and the surrounding region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Practice independently while maintaining strong affiliations with local tertiary care hospitals and in-house diagnostic facilities.

  • Provide comprehensive skin consultations, evaluating conditions and screening for dermatologic diseases.

  • Utilize patient medical history to develop treatment plans and prescribe medications for skin conditions.

  • Perform non-invasive dermatologic procedures and refer patients to specialists as needed.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including primary care providers, to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.

  • Participate in evidence-based, value-driven care initiatives while promoting patient education and wellbeing.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted New York State medical license or application in process.

  • Certification: Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Dermatology.

  • Licenses: Active and unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain prior to start.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a patient-focused healthcare environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $360,000 – $672,500 annually (total cash compensation including base and potential bonus). Salary is commensurate with experience, education, and performance metrics.
