Position Summary

The Director, TAIP Delivery Lead is a senior leadership role within the Trial Analytics, Insights & Planning (TAIP) organization. This position is responsible for overseeing the delivery, governance, and operational excellence of Tier 2 and Tier 3 clinical trial analytics services while leading and developing the Hyderabad-based analytics team.

The role combines strategic leadership, analytics delivery oversight, resource management, stakeholder engagement, and talent development to ensure high-quality, scalable analytics support for global clinical development programs. The successful candidate will work closely with Therapeutic Area (TA) Leads, clinical study teams, and enterprise stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making and accelerate clinical trial execution.


Key Responsibilities

Trial Analytics Leadership

  • Provide overall governance and oversight for Tier 2 and Tier 3 trial analytics delivery.

  • Ensure timely, high-quality execution of analytics requests across global clinical studies.

  • Establish and maintain delivery standards, processes, and best practices.

  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for the TAIP Tier 2/3 service model.

  • Ensure alignment between analytics delivery teams and business stakeholders.

  • Drive continuous improvement and evolution of the TAIP service delivery framework.

Resource Planning and Delivery Management

  • Own staffing, prioritization, workload balancing, and resource allocation decisions.

  • Optimize team utilization and project assignments across multiple clinical programs.

  • Monitor project delivery performance and address resource constraints proactively.

  • Ensure scalability and operational efficiency across analytics delivery teams.

Stakeholder Engagement and Strategic Partnership

  • Partner with Therapeutic Area Leads, Clinical Development teams, and senior business stakeholders.

  • Influence study planning and execution through data-driven recommendations.

  • Facilitate alignment between analytics strategy and clinical development objectives.

  • Communicate complex analytical findings to senior leadership and decision-makers.

Hyderabad Analytics Hub Leadership

  • Serve as the formal line manager for Hyderabad-based Analysts and Senior Analysts.

  • Lead performance management, coaching, mentoring, and career development activities.

  • Foster employee engagement, collaboration, and team effectiveness.

  • Build and strengthen the Hyderabad analytics organization as a strategic delivery center.

  • Collaborate closely with Therapeutic Area Leads who maintain study-level oversight and day-to-day project direction.

Talent Development and People Leadership

  • Develop and retain high-performing analytics talent.

  • Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives.

  • Create opportunities for professional growth and capability building.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Clinical Trial Analytics and Strategy

  • Guide feasibility assessments, enrollment forecasting, and trial performance analytics.

  • Support optimization of clinical trial design, planning, and execution.

  • Ensure analytical outputs are scientifically rigorous, scalable, and actionable.

  • Identify opportunities to accelerate trial delivery through advanced analytics and operational insights.

Operational Excellence

  • Establish quality standards and governance processes across analytics activities.

  • Drive process optimization and adoption of best practices.

  • Support the development of analytical frameworks, methodologies, and tools.

  • Ensure consistency in reporting, forecasting models, and performance metrics across programs.


Required Qualifications

Education

Preferred:

  • MBA

  • MSc

  • MPH

  • PharmD

  • PhD

  • Equivalent advanced degree in a scientific, analytical, quantitative, or healthcare-related discipline

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Public Health, Statistics, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.


Experience

  • 8–10+ years of experience in:

    • Clinical Analytics

    • Clinical Trial Strategy

    • Healthcare Analytics

    • Management Consulting

    • Pharmaceutical Research and Development

    • Clinical Operations

  • Proven experience leading analytics delivery for complex global clinical trials.

  • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

  • Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders within matrix organizations.

  • Strong understanding of clinical trial planning, feasibility, enrollment forecasting, and operational execution.
