Job Overview
The Executive – Quality Assurance (QA) is responsible for supporting quality management processes and ensuring compliance with established quality standards within the manufacturing environment. The role focuses on maintaining quality systems, supporting regulatory compliance, and ensuring the production of safe, effective, and high-quality products in alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.
This position requires strong knowledge of quality assurance processes, regulatory standards, and manufacturing quality systems within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance and Compliance
Support the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance systems in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, procedures, and manufacturing practices.
Assist in monitoring quality processes to ensure product safety, consistency, and regulatory adherence.
Support quality audits, inspections, and documentation activities as required.
Quality Systems and Documentation Management
Maintain and manage quality documentation, records, and reports in accordance with established procedures.
Assist in reviewing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality documentation.
Ensure compliance with record retention and documentation control processes.
Operational Quality Support
Provide quality-related support to manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Assist in identifying deviations, supporting investigations, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards across operations.
Process Improvement and Continuous Enhancement
Support initiatives for continuous improvement of quality systems and operational processes.
Identify opportunities to enhance quality performance and ensure operational efficiency.
Contribute to maintaining compliance with evolving regulatory and organizational requirements.
Work Environment and Activities
This role may involve prolonged periods of sitting during routine work activities and requires close collaboration with manufacturing and quality teams.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, quality control, or quality systems within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or manufacturing industry.
Experience working in regulated environments with knowledge of quality standards and compliance practices is preferred.
