Sanofi is hiring an Expert Scientific Writer – HEVA (Health Economics and Value Assessment) in Hyderabad, India for experienced professionals in health economics, medical communications, and pharmaceutical value evidence development. This role focuses on creating strategic scientific communication materials that demonstrate the clinical and economic value of healthcare products for global healthcare decision-makers.
About the Role
As an Expert Scientific Writer – HEVA, you will develop and manage health economics and value assessment communication deliverables, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and slide decks aligned with Sanofi’s global HEVA strategy. The role supports global teams in communicating the clinical, economic, and real-world value of pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, payers, and policy decision makers.
You will also contribute to HEVA communication plans, Core Value Dossiers, AMCP dossiers, and value communication frameworks, ensuring consistent messaging around product value and healthcare outcomes. The position requires strong collaboration with HEVA, Real-World Evidence (RWE), and global scientific communication teams while mentoring other HEVA writers and maintaining compliance with publication standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop HEVA communication materials including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and scientific presentations.
Support execution of global HEVA communication strategies and publication plans.
Maintain and update Core Value Decks and value evidence summaries for key pharmaceutical products.
Contribute to Core Value Dossier and AMCP dossier development.
Collaborate with HEVA, RWE, and scientific communication teams globally.
Conduct publication need analysis and manage end-to-end publication processes.
Ensure compliance with Good Publication Practice (GPP) and internal SOPs.
Mentor and review work of senior and junior HEVA scientific writers.
Identify innovative ways to communicate health economic evidence and product value.
Salary (Approx.)
The expected salary for an Expert Scientific Writer – HEVA in Hyderabad is approximately ₹25 LPA – ₹38 LPA, depending on experience in health economics, pharmaceutical value communication, and scientific writing expertise.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years of experience in scientific writing, medical communication, or health economics within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Education: Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Economics, or related discipline.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of health economics, value assessment frameworks, publication planning, and Good Publication Practice (GPP).
Skills: Strong analytical thinking, stakeholder collaboration, and project management abilities.
Language: Excellent written and spoken English.
