Our Team
Sanofi Business Operations (SBO) is an internal resource organization established to centralize processes and activities across:
Functions: Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO, and R&D, Data & Digital.
Purpose: Serve as a strategic and functional partner for tactical deliveries to Medical, HEVA, and Commercial organizations globally.
Key Responsibilities
Core Purpose
Develop complex and specialized scientific/medical content independently.
Manage the full lifecycle of publication/medical education content (documentation, review, approval in PromoMats/iEnvision).
Build and maintain expertise in therapeutic areas, processes, and compliance.
Provide coaching and review support to senior and junior writers.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to establish best practices and engage stakeholders effectively.
People
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders (medical and scientific community).
Interact with healthcare professionals on publication content requirements.
Mentor and guide writers, sharing knowledge and expertise.
Performance
Deliver high-quality publication/medical education materials (slide decks, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, etc.) within timelines.
Provide strategic support to individuals/institutions serving as publication resources.
Process
Develop complex publications and medical education deliverables.
Act as a subject-matter expert in medical communications within assigned therapeutic areas.
Support scientific communication teams with comprehensive publication-need analysis.
Implement and execute the annual publication plan.
Manage vendors to ensure deliverables meet process and quality standards.
Utilize advanced training tools and techniques to enhance knowledge-sharing.
Gather user feedback to continuously improve content and delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with regional/area scientific communication teams to identify and fulfill publication needs.
Collaborate with medical teams to prepare relevant, customized deliverables.
About You
Experience:
8+ years in content creation within pharmaceutical/healthcare industry or academia.
4+ years in a leadership role.
Skills:
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and in collaborative team settings.
Technical expertise in therapeutic area/domain knowledge, publication submission, and/or project management.
Education:
Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field, or a medical degree.
Languages:
Excellent spoken and written English.
