Job Description:
As the Head of Biologics Discovery, you will lead and build a high-performing, diverse team of bench scientists dedicated to advancing our biologics discovery efforts. Your role will involve managing hit discovery and optimization, including the development of hit generation and screening platforms, as well as biochemical and biophysical assays. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality data to progress early hits to development candidates.
You will work closely with the Head of Disease Biology and Pharmacology on target validation and program advancement. Your responsibilities will extend to collaborating with nonclinical development and CMC teams to advance drug candidates towards IND, including early-scale activities. Additionally, you will contribute to Fable’s data strategy for machine learning by delivering high-throughput assay and developability data.
As a member of the DDxR leadership team, you will influence strategic decisions regarding lab infrastructure, informatics, and automation. Your leadership will help shape our therapeutic pipeline and foster a high-performance culture within the team.
