About the Role:

As an Infection Prevention Specialist, Peri-op, you’ll support healthcare providers through sales, training, and education initiatives in operating rooms and perioperative environments. You'll lead efforts to increase product adoption and ensure customer satisfaction, backed by data-driven decision-making and strong relationship-building.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage a sales territory focused on customer growth and support.

  • Develop and execute territory/account strategies using data and analytics.

  • Maintain Salesforce CRM for sales call tracking and business planning.

  • Identify and solve customer clinical and financial pain points.

  • Lead product education and in-service training; resolve technical issues.

  • Build strong relationships with surgeons and clinical stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with distribution/channel partners.

  • Support contract compliance, standardization, and NPI adoption.

  • Represent Solventum at trade shows, symposiums, and conferences.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree + minimum 2 years of relevant experience
    OR

  • High School Diploma/GED + minimum 6 years of relevant experience

  • Current and valid driver's license

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of clinical value drivers in peri-op settings

  • Strong track record in customer-focused selling

  • Proven success in territory and quota management

  • Experience in operating room (OR) or peri-op sales

  • Prior exposure to new product introduction and value analysis

  • CRM experience (preferably Salesforce)

  • Industry affiliations (AORN, APIC)

  • Formal sales training program completion

  • Medical device or healthcare industry background


Work & Travel Info:

  • Location: Remote (New York territory)

  • Travel: Up to 50% overnight travel expected

  • Company Vehicle: Provided (requires clean driving history)

  • Relocation Assistance: May be authorized


Compensation (for U.S. applicants):

Estimated Range: $141,775 – $173,280 (includes base + potential variable pay)
