Job Title: Inpatient Pharmacist

Job Details:

As an Inpatient Pharmacist at Dayton Children's Hospital, you will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution and clinical services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy to pediatric patients.
  • Overseeing daily pharmacy operations within the designated department to ensure the appropriate delivery of medications.
  • Collaborating with the patient care team in a decentralized pharmacy care model to monitor patient therapy effectiveness.
  • Providing drug information to healthcare professionals, pediatric patients, and their families.
  • Reviewing physician orders and coordinating medication dispensing.
  • Supervising pharmacy students and technicians, including verifying products prepared by technicians.

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD Degree required
  • Certification/Licensure:
    • Registered Pharmacist (RPh) in Ohio - Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
