Job Overview

IQVIA, a global leader in clinical research, healthcare intelligence, and commercial insights, is offering a 1-year full-time internship for motivated graduates seeking hands-on experience in Application Implementation and Application Support & Services. This opportunity sits within AI and Technology Solutions (ATS) and provides exposure to Commercial Technology, Safety, Patient, and Quality, Regulatory & Compliance (QARA) product portfolios.

This internship is ideal for early-career professionals looking to build practical technical skills while contributing to real-world healthcare and life sciences technology projects in a structured, mentorship-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of enterprise applications across Commercial Tech, Safety, Patient, and QARA platforms

  • Provide application support services, troubleshooting issues to ensure business continuity and minimal disruption

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and assist in translating them into technical solutions

  • Participate in application testing and validation to ensure quality, performance, and user acceptance standards are met

  • Document implementation workflows, support procedures, and best practices

  • Monitor application performance and assist in identifying enhancement opportunities

  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline

  • 0–1 year of experience or academic exposure in application implementation, application support, or IT services

  • Basic understanding of application support models and system implementation processes

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and standard productivity tools


Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Commercial Tech, Safety, Patient, or QARA systems

  • Exposure to application testing and validation methodologies

  • Basic programming knowledge and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Awareness of Agile or iterative development methodologies
