Role Overview

GE Healthcare, a global leader in medical technology and digital solutions, is seeking an Intra-Operative Clinical Application Specialist to support the deployment, training, and clinical adoption of our bk Ultrasound solutions. This customer-facing role combines clinical expertise, product demonstration, and post-sale support with the responsibility to drive market growth through educational and outreach initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ultrasound or surgical care, understand human anatomy, and be capable of translating clinical insights into operational and strategic impact. This role requires close collaboration with Product Managers, sales teams, and clinical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical expertise and value-based demonstrations of bk Ultrasound solutions for Neurosurgery, Urology, Hepato-Biliary, Colorectal, and Pelvic Floor applications.

  • Develop deep knowledge of product lines, regional markets, sales territories, and clinical workflows to execute the business strategy effectively.

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and relevant stakeholders to define clinical strategies and identify training needs within the region.

  • Deliver post-sale support including system installation, clinical training, and guidance for OR staff and other clinical professionals.

  • Conduct high-level product demonstrations and build strong relationships with key decision-makers involved in purchases.

  • Organize and execute periodic clinical training sessions for installed systems, ensuring proper documentation and system usage tracking.

  • Plan and lead educational initiatives such as workshops, courses, exhibitions, and roadshows to expand clinical adoption.

  • Identify and engage key opinion leaders (KOLs) in each market segment, supporting educational and outreach activities.

  • Develop training materials in compliance with GE Healthcare guidelines and industry standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in ultrasound technology, intra-operative clinical applications, or surgical care settings.

  • Solid understanding of human anatomy and clinical imaging applications for diagnosis and treatment.

  • Technical proficiency with ultrasound systems and clinical applications; certification in relevant areas is advantageous.

  • Willingness to travel up to 60% within and outside the assigned region, including overnight stays as required.
