Job Purpose

To monitor and execute packing activities in a shift while adhering to cGMP and safety norms, ensuring production targets are met effectively.


Key Accountabilities

  1. Shift Packing Management:

    • Oversee shift-wise packing operations by optimizing resource utilization and minimizing machine micro-stoppages to meet production targets.
  2. Regulatory Compliance:

    • Review packing documentation and monitor standard packing parameters as per the Batch Production Record (BPR) to comply with regulatory requirements.
  3. Documentation and Record Maintenance:

    • Prepare manufacturing records and ensure real-time documentation updates to meet production and cGMP standards.
  4. Safety Monitoring:

    • Enforce adherence to safety guidelines during packing activities to maintain a safe working environment in the block.
  5. Training and Development:

    • Conduct training sessions and regular interactions with staff and workmen to enhance their skills and ensure the production of quality products.
  6. Process Optimization:

    • Suggest and implement innovative ideas to simplify processes, reduce process cycle time, and achieve improved production targets.

Educational Qualifications

  • B. Pharm. or B. Sc. (Chemistry)

Relevant Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in packing operations.
  • Familiarity with handling QMS activities, qualifications, and related documentation.
