Job Overview
Novo Nordisk is seeking an experienced Medical Advisor II to join its Medical Affairs team in Bengaluru. This role is designed for medical professionals who can translate scientific insights into impactful medical strategies. As a key scientific ambassador, you will support evidence-based decision-making, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and contribute to improving patient outcomes across diabetes and cardio-metabolic therapy areas.

Key Responsibilities
Act as a therapy-area expert in diabetes and cardio-metabolic diseases, maintaining strong scientific and competitive knowledge. Lead and execute medico-marketing initiatives aligned with overall Medical Affairs strategy. Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), and professional associations.

Drive real-world evidence (RWE) generation, support clinical data dissemination, and identify publication opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including regulatory, clinical operations, and commercial functions to support product lifecycle activities such as site selection, recruitment, and regulatory submissions. Provide medical expertise by addressing product-related scientific queries and supporting internal teams.

Deliver medical training programs and contribute to product launches through scientific engagement and communication strategies. Ensure all activities are conducted in line with ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance frameworks.

Eligibility Criteria
MD is preferred; MBBS with relevant experience may also be considered.

Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs, medico-marketing, or clinical practice, preferably within diabetes or cardio-metabolic therapy areas.

Required Skills & Competencies
Strong expertise in Medical Affairs and scientific communication within relevant therapy areas. Proven experience in medico-marketing, evidence generation, and stakeholder engagement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex clinical data effectively. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities across cross-functional teams. High level of integrity, compliance awareness, and patient-centric mindset.
