Key Responsibilities

Medical Affairs Strategy & Scientific Leadership

  • Act as the scientific expert for assigned product portfolios and therapy areas
  • Provide evidence-based medical insights to support business and patient care objectives
  • Translate scientific and clinical knowledge into strategic medical initiatives
  • Maintain strong competitive intelligence within relevant therapy areas

Therapy Area Expertise
Provide subject matter expertise in applicable focus areas such as:

  • Diabetes
  • Cardio-metabolic diseases
  • Rare diseases
  • Related therapeutic specialties

Monitor clinical advancements, treatment guidelines, scientific literature, and competitive market developments.

Scientific Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong scientific relationships with:
    • Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
    • Healthcare Professionals (HCPs)
    • Medical societies
    • Professional healthcare bodies
  • Support scientific exchange activities while maintaining ethical engagement standards
  • Represent medical affairs in external scientific discussions

Clinical Evidence Generation & Publications

  • Support real-world evidence (RWE) generation initiatives
  • Identify publication opportunities and contribute to scientific dissemination activities
  • Assist with evidence development aligned with medical strategy
  • Support medical communications and scientific presentations

Clinical & Regulatory Support

  • Provide medical expertise for clinical and regulatory activities
  • Support:
    • Site identification and selection
    • Patient recruitment initiatives
    • Scientific regulatory submissions
    • Product-related medical queries
  • Collaborate with regulatory and clinical operations teams

Medical Training & Product Launch Support

  • Deliver scientific and medical training to internal stakeholders
  • Support product launch planning in collaboration with commercial and regulatory teams
  • Ensure scientific messaging remains accurate, compliant, and evidence-based

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams across:
    • Medical Affairs
    • Commercial
    • Regulatory Affairs
    • Clinical Operations
    • Market Access
  • Support aligned execution of strategic medical initiatives

Required Qualifications

Educational Qualifications
Candidates must hold:

  • MBBS (mandatory)

Preferred:

  • MD (highly preferred)

Relevant therapeutic specialization experience will be considered advantageous.
