Job Title: Medical Coder – Evaluation & Management (E&M)

Location: Noida, India

Job Description:

Join Access Healthcare as a Medical Coder - Evaluation & Management (E&M) and contribute to accurate medical coding, documentation, and compliance. This role requires expertise in E&M coding and a keen understanding of healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze medical records to identify services provided during patient evaluations and management.
Assign appropriate E&M codes based on the level of service rendered, ensuring compliance with CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS guidelines.
Maintain coding accuracy and adhere to documentation requirements for various E&M levels.
Stay updated with coding regulations from CMS, AMA, and other regulatory bodies.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and uphold patient privacy and confidentiality.
Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to clarify documentation discrepancies.
Collaborate with billing and revenue cycle teams to ensure accurate claims submission and timely reimbursement.
Conduct regular audits on coded medical records to identify errors and areas for improvement.
Participate in coding compliance programs to maintain accuracy and quality standards.

Job Requirements:

CPC, CCS-P, CRC, or equivalent coding certification.
Strong knowledge of Evaluation & Management (E&M) coding guidelines.
Proficiency in coding software and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Compliance-oriented mindset with an understanding of healthcare regulations.
A continuous learning attitude to stay updated on coding practices and changes.
