Job Overview

We are looking for a scientifically driven and highly motivated Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support medical affairs activities, scientific engagement, and healthcare professional collaborations within the pharmaceutical division. The selected candidate will act as a scientific expert responsible for building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, thought leaders, and medical societies while supporting scientific communication and educational initiatives.

This role is ideal for candidates with medical or life sciences backgrounds who are passionate about clinical science, healthcare communication, medical education, and pharmaceutical innovation.


Key Responsibilities

Scientific Communication & Medical Exchange

  • Engage proactively and reactively with Thought Leaders (TLs), healthcare professionals, and medical experts.
  • Disseminate and clarify:
    • Scientific data
    • Clinical study information
    • Research publications
    • Study protocols
    • Congress abstracts
    • Medical literature
  • Support scientific discussions in alignment with medical affairs and local regulatory guidelines.
  • Respond appropriately to unsolicited medical and off-label scientific queries.

Medical Societies & Advisory Board Activities

  • Address scientific and medical queries from medical societies regarding pharmaceutical products and therapeutic areas.
  • Organize, support, and participate in:
    • Advisory board meetings
    • Scientific discussions
    • Medical affairs programs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen scientific engagement strategies.

Congresses, Conferences & Networking

  • Attend:
    • Medical congresses
    • Scientific conventions
    • Healthcare conferences
  • Build professional relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Gather:
    • Competitive intelligence
    • Market insights
    • Therapeutic area updates

Scientific Education & Training

  • Plan and coordinate:
    • Scientific education programs
    • Medical training sessions
    • Healthcare professional engagement activities
  • Support knowledge-sharing initiatives related to specific therapeutic areas and products.

Thought Leader Engagement & Strategy

  • Identify and profile thought leaders within assigned therapeutic areas.
  • Contribute to:
    • Medical affairs planning
    • Engagement strategies
    • Scientific collaboration opportunities
  • Support internal understanding of healthcare professional interests and expertise areas.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of:
    • Scientific interactions
    • Advisory activities
    • Educational events
    • Stakeholder engagements
  • Track activities against defined medical affairs objectives and reporting standards.

Required Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:

  • MBBS
  • MD
  • BAMS
  • BDS
  • MDS
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in:
    • Life Sciences
    • Pharmacy
    • Biotechnology
    • Medical Sciences
    • Natural Sciences
    • Or related healthcare disciplines
