Job Summary
IQVIA is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a Per Diem Clinical Nurse Educator role in Tampa, FL. This field-based position offers a unique chance to transition from bedside care to clinical education. You’ll train and educate healthcare professionals on diagnostic and specimen collection products—no sales or direct patient care involved. This flexible, travel-based role is ideal for nurses looking to supplement their income while building experience in the medical device industry.
Key Responsibilities
Provide peer-to-peer clinical education and in-servicing to nurses, physicians, and hospital staff
Deliver tailored product education for diagnostic and specimen collection tools
Respond to clinician questions using clinical expertise
Assess facility-specific training needs and implement customized sessions
Submit updates and feedback reports to the client after each assignment
Required Skills & Qualifications
RN Degree (Associate required, Bachelor's preferred)
Active, unrestricted RN license (Florida or compact)
3–5 years of experience in diagnostics/specimen collection
Minimum 2 years of critical care unit experience preferred
Prior educator, manager, or preceptor experience is a plus
Proficiency with basic software programs
Ability and willingness to travel regionally and nationally
Must be flexible to work at least 2 weeks/month
