About the Opportunity

Syneos Health, in partnership with a leading biopharmaceutical organization, is seeking a results-driven Pharmaceutical Sales Representative (PSR) to manage and grow a defined territory in Omaha, Nebraska.

This role is ideal for commercially focused professionals who are passionate about healthcare innovation and committed to delivering value-driven scientific engagement to healthcare providers (HCPs). The PSR will be responsible for driving prescription growth, strengthening key account relationships, and executing strategic territory business plans aligned with brand objectives.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required; Life Sciences, Biology, or related discipline preferred

  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, or

  • Business-to-business (B2B) sales experience, sales internship, or sales-focused academic background

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Experience influencing prescribing behavior and engaging healthcare decision-makers

  • Respiratory therapeutic experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

Territory Sales & Business Planning

  • Achieve and exceed territory sales goals through execution of a data-driven business plan

  • Identify and prioritize high-value accounts and key opinion leaders (KOLs)

  • Conduct consistent, structured territory coverage aligned with brand strategy

  • Manage territory budget to support promotional and marketing initiatives

Customer Engagement & Clinical Promotion

  • Deliver compliant, evidence-based product presentations to physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and pharmacy stakeholders

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare delivery system within assigned accounts

  • Build relationships across physician hierarchies, pharmacy leadership, and clinical staff

  • Maintain strong product knowledge and competitive market intelligence

Strategic Analysis & Market Insight

  • Analyze regional market dynamics, prescribing trends, and competitor activity

  • Identify short- and long-term growth opportunities

  • Adapt business strategy to evolving healthcare landscape and payer environments

Collaboration & Compliance

  • Partner cross-functionally with brand teams, sales peers, and commercial support functions

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs

  • Ensure strict adherence to corporate, industry, and regulatory compliance standards
