Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Pharmacist to join our team in Ahmedabad. The role requires a professional with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical practices, inventory management, and regulatory compliance to ensure safe and effective medication distribution.
Key Responsibilities
Medication Dispensation: Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions as per doctor’s orders, ensuring proper dosages and compliance with pharmaceutical standards.
Patient Counseling: Provide guidance to patients on the use, side effects, and precautions of medications. Address any queries related to prescriptions and over-the-counter drugs.
Inventory Management: Maintain adequate stock levels of medications and supplies. Conduct regular inventory checks and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prescriptions and transactions.
Quality Control: Monitor the storage conditions of pharmaceuticals to maintain their efficacy and safety.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of dispensing activities, stock levels, and expired medications.
Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers, staff, and other departments to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
Candidate Requirements
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / M.Pharm).
Experience:
2–4 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist in a clinical or retail setting.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of pharmaceutical compositions and interactions.
Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and software.
Understanding of regulatory standards and guidelines for pharmacy operations.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment.
