Job Summary:
ICON Plc, a global leader in clinical research and healthcare intelligence, is hiring a Pharmacovigilance Associate for a remote role based in Colombia. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about drug safety and regulatory compliance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring pharmaceutical product safety by managing adverse event data and contributing to global pharmacovigilance operations in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, review, and manage adverse event reports in compliance with global regulatory standards
Perform signal detection and risk assessment to identify safety trends
Support safety-related inquiries, investigations, and case follow-ups
Contribute to safety report generation and regulatory submissions
Maintain current knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations and best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional clinical and safety teams globally
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
Prior experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or clinical safety roles
Familiarity with adverse event case processing and signal detection methodologies
Strong knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations (GVP, ICH)
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Experience in clinical research organizations or pharmaceutical environments is advantageous
