Position Overview

We are seeking a Pharmacovigilance Services Senior Analyst to support and lead drug safety and pharmacovigilance operations. This role involves training, mentoring, and guiding team members, while ensuring adherence to internal and client SOPs, SWIs, and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on pharmacovigilance experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in safety databases and medical documentation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct, monitor, and document training programs for new hires and existing team members on SOPs, SWIs, and client policies.

  • Create, maintain, and share training materials to ensure consistency and regulatory compliance.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client-related training queries.

  • Stay updated on changes to processes, guidelines, and industry conventions, and communicate updates to team members.

  • Assist leads in daily operations planning, workload management, and meeting service level timelines.

  • Develop training plans for new hires and cross-trained staff according to client requirements.

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to ensure training effectiveness.

  • Maintain training records and documentation in line with contractual and regulatory requirements.

  • Identify opportunities for knowledge sharing, process improvement, and continuous learning within the team.

  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, implementing measures to enhance productivity and quality.

  • Ensure compliance with business policies, SOPs, and client contractual obligations.

  • Support audits and inspections, and manage access to relevant tools, software, and databases as per SOPs.

  • Contribute to the review and development of pharmacovigilance documentation and client deliverables.


Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery, Life Sciences, or Master’s in Life Sciences.

Experience Required:

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in pharmacovigilance operations, drug safety surveillance, or medical information.

  • Experience with safety databases, pharmacovigilance reporting, AE/SAE handling, and regulatory submissions is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, MedDRA, and WHO-Drug dictionaries.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and documentation tools.

  • Excellent medical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking, listening).

  • Ability to train and mentor team members effectively.

  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
