We are currently seeking a mobile Phlebotomist to support our client office locations in Festus and Southern St. Louis (Concord area). This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy direct patient interaction, delivering excellent service, and performing skilled specimen collection in a dynamic, mobile environment.


Position Overview

As a Rover Phlebotomist, you will travel between multiple client sites to perform blood collection and related duties. You will be the frontline representative of Labcorp, ensuring patient comfort, accurate specimen collection, and proper handling in compliance with laboratory standards. This position offers opportunities for career growth and professional development within the Labcorp network.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all age groups.

  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity testing, alcohol testing, and other laboratory services.

  • Accurately enter patient information and process billing or payments when required.

  • Prepare and transport specimens for testing and analysis following standard procedures.

  • Maintain patient and specimen logs for compliance and quality assurance.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

  • Travel to assigned sites and adapt schedule as per business needs.

  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary to support laboratory operations.


Work Schedule

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM

  • Schedule may vary based on business requirements or supervisor direction.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program required.

  • 2+ years of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient or clinical laboratory environment preferred.

  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team under minimal supervision.

  • Reliable transportation for mobile site travel.

  • Flexibility to work overtime or adjusted shifts as needed.

  • Ability to pass a standardized color vision test.
