Principal Biostatistician – Neuroscience (Remote, USA or Canada)
Job Summary:
IQVIA’s Functional Service Provider (FSP) division is hiring a Principal Biostatistician to lead statistical support for neuroscience clinical research. This home-based role offers flexibility, career stability, and the opportunity to collaborate with top global pharmaceutical clients on groundbreaking neuroscience trials. Ideal for experienced statisticians with strong SAS, CDISC, and clinical trial experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish project goals and timelines.
Author statistical sections of protocols and statistical analysis plans.
Oversee deliverables, timelines, and resourcing for assigned projects.
Provide statistical input into regulatory and clinical documents.
Guide programmers on data derivation and creation of TLFs.
Conduct and validate sample size calculations and trial simulations.
Perform epidemiological literature reviews and endpoint validation.
Apply advanced statistical methods including Bayesian techniques, synthetic control arms, and causal inference.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
PhD in Biostatistics/Statistics with 5+ years industry experience OR
MS with 7+ years industry experience.
Minimum 3 years clinical trial (Phase 2/3) and 2 years observational/RWE experience.
Expertise in SAS programming, CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM, CDASH).
Strong understanding of ICH GCP, ICH E9, and regulatory standards.
Ability to independently lead projects and manage programming teams.
Proven experience with innovative designs and real-world evidence methods.
Neuroscience therapeutic area experience preferred.
