About the job:
Sanofi Global Hub (SGH) is an internal Sanofi resource organization based in India that centralizes processes and activities to support Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO, and R&D, Data & Digital functions. SGH aims to be a strategic and functional partner for tactical deliveries to Medical, HEVA, and Commercial organizations globally.
Main responsibilities:
People:
Maintain effective relationships with the end stakeholders (medical scientific community) within the allocated Global Business Unit and product to develop education and communication content.
Interact effectively with healthcare professionals on publication content.
Assist senior and junior writers in developing knowledge and sharing expertise.
Partner with TL/GL to strengthen capabilities and support individual development plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in SGH (technology, CE teams) to drive digital transformation and introduce innovative solutions.
Provide proactive recommendations to improve scientific content and ensure adherence to best practices.
Performance:
Provide publication/medical education material (slide deck, abstract, poster, manuscript, etc.) as per agreed timelines and quality.
Offer strategic support with individuals and institutions that may serve as resources for publication purposes.
Act as a subject matter expert, coach, and mentor for fellow writers, recommending and implementing tactical process improvements.
Process:
Develop complex publication/medical education material.
Act as an expert in the field of medical communication for the assigned therapeutic area(s).
Assist the scientific communication team in conducting comprehensive publication-need analyses.
Implement the publication plan and associated activities for the region.
Collaborate with selected vendors within the region to deliver the required outputs.
Utilize advanced training delivery tools to enhance effectiveness.
Design action plans based on end-user feedback and improve course content and delivery.
Understand budget estimates and support TL/GL with budget discussions and resource allocation.
Stakeholder:
Work closely with scientific communication teams in regions/areas to identify publication needs and assist in developing assigned deliverables.
Liaise with the medical department to prepare relevant and customized deliverables.
About you:
Experience:
10+ years of experience in content creation in the Medical Communication (Publications, Medical Education) domain for the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry or academia.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a leadership role is desirable.
Soft skills:
Stakeholder management, communication skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Technical skills:
Therapeutic area/domain knowledge, publication submission expertise, and project management.
Education:
Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, a similar discipline, or a medical degree.
Languages:
Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written).
