Role Overview
The Principal Technical Project Manager (Clinical/GxP) will lead and oversee complex clinical technology programs, ensuring adherence to GxP standards and project deliverables. This role combines strategic program management, cross-functional coordination, and hands-on leadership to drive the successful execution of large-scale, technology-enabled clinical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee program execution to ensure delivery within budget, schedule, and scope, while managing interdependencies between projects.
Develop program goals, define scope, track progress, and mitigate risks, escalating issues as necessary.
Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams to align projects with broader business strategy.
Provide oversight for project managers managing multiple projects within a complex portfolio.
Establish and maintain project procedures, timelines, and priorities, ensuring alignment with executive management directives.
Support Business Partners and Product Managers in benefits management and resource allocation.
Manage relationships with technology vendors, including SOW and PO management, system integrations, and application updates.
Build strong stakeholder relationships, addressing concerns and facilitating effective communication.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 8–10 years of program/project management experience, preferably in clinical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare technology environments.
Proven track record managing complex programs with GxP compliance.
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies; PMP certification preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate across global teams.
Experience in budgeting, resource management, and portfolio prioritization.
