About the Role
Vee Healthtek is seeking an experienced QA/SME – Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) professional to join our US healthcare team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in CDI/IP DRG to ensure high-quality documentation, accurate coding, and compliance with regulatory standards. Your experience as a CDI/IP trainer will be highly valued and allow you to mentor and guide junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Review and improve clinical documentation to optimize coding accuracy and compliance.
Provide subject matter expertise (SME) in CDI and IP DRG processes.
Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure adherence to standards and regulatory requirements.
Support and train CDI/IP teams on best practices and workflow improvements.
Collaborate with clinical, coding, and operational teams to enhance documentation quality.
Provide guidance on complex cases and maintain high-quality metrics for CDI performance.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
Degree in Life Sciences (paramedical or medical background preferred).
Minimum 4 years of experience in CDI/IP DRG.
CIC, CCS, or CDIP certification required.
Strong knowledge of US healthcare documentation, coding standards, and CDI processes.
Excellent communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience as a CDI/IP trainer.
Ability to analyze complex clinical data and provide actionable recommendations.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
