QC ANALYST – ANALYTICAL / MOLECULAR BIOLOGY / BIOASSAY
JOB SUMMARY
A Quality Control (QC) Analyst role focused on analytical testing, molecular biology techniques, and bioassay-based evaluation of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products. The role ensures product quality, regulatory compliance, and data integrity through advanced laboratory testing, instrumentation, and scientific analysis in a GMP-regulated environment.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Fresher to 3 years of experience in Quality Control, analytical testing, biotechnology, or biopharmaceutical laboratory environments. Freshers with strong academic and laboratory training are eligible.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
M.Sc / M.Tech / B.Tech in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related life science discipline.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform analytical testing using instruments such as HPLC, UPLC, UV Spectrophotometer, and FTIR
Conduct molecular biology and bioanalytical assays including PCR, ELISA, and capillary electrophoresis (CE)
Execute bioassay and cell-based assay studies including in-vitro testing and cell culture maintenance
Prepare buffers, reagents, standards, and analytical solutions as per SOPs
Perform calibration, verification, and routine maintenance of laboratory instruments (pH meter, osmometer, etc.)
Handle and analyze laboratory data using systems such as Empower, LabSolutions, or equivalent software
Ensure adherence to GMP, GLP, and data integrity guidelines during all laboratory activities
Document experimental results accurately and support audit readiness and regulatory inspections
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry, molecular biology, and biotechnology principles
Hands-on exposure to analytical instruments and bioassay techniques
Understanding of GMP, GLP, and regulatory compliance requirements
Strong attention to detail with high standards of data integrity
Ability to interpret scientific data and troubleshoot analytical issues
Good laboratory documentation and reporting skills
