Job Overview
The Quality Inspector – Hardlines is responsible for conducting product inspections, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, and maintaining quality standards throughout production and inspection processes. The role involves onsite inspections, documentation review, quality reporting, and collaboration with internal teams and manufacturing units to ensure product conformity and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Receive inspection assignments from the Operations or Team Manager and execute quality inspection activities accordingly.
Identify and report unethical practices observed internally or externally, including supplier or factory-related concerns.
Review standard operating procedures, technical documents, and customer specifications to understand inspection requirements.
Evaluate product production processes, quality standards, and defect classifications for hardline products.
Conduct inline production assurance, quality assurance, and quality control inspections.
Analyze quality issues, recommend corrective actions, and track improvements to prevent recurrence of nonconformities.
Verify product conformity using approved samples and technical documentation.
Perform onsite testing as per Eurofins protocols and customer requirements.
Capture clear photographic evidence and prepare accurate inspection reports using standardized templates.
Submit complete and error-free inspection reports on the same day of inspection completion.
Ensure accuracy of production information and compliance with customer and regulatory specifications.
Complete assigned training programs and assessments within defined timelines.
Support additional quality inspection and compliance activities as assigned by management.
Inspection and Compliance Activities
Validate product measurements based on customer-defined methods and specifications.
Ensure strict adherence to Assurance Control Book requirements and quality protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting standards aligned with ISO inspection frameworks.
Monitor quality performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Eligibility
Relevant qualification or certification in Hardlines or Electrical & Electronics (E&E) field.
Strong knowledge of product inspection standards and quality control methodologies.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively with factories and production teams.
Experience Required
Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in a product inspection or auditing organization.
Proven experience conducting product random inspections based on ISO 2859 standards.
Prior experience in hardline product inspection or related industry is required.
