Role Overview:
As a Regional Medical & Scientific Affairs Manager, you will oversee all scientific activities in your assigned region, liaise with key opinion leaders (KOLs), and ensure accurate, unbiased dissemination of medical information. You will collaborate with internal teams and regional sales personnel to provide scientific support, conduct field engagements, and drive educational initiatives in alignment with company strategy and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all scientific activities within the assigned region, including face-to-face and virtual engagements with HCPs.

  • Deliver high-quality scientific presentations at internal and external forums, ensuring clear communication of complex medical data.

  • Support head office-driven HCP e-engagement platforms and regional medical initiatives.

  • Facilitate the exchange of unbiased scientific information between the medical community and the company.

  • Build and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with KOLs and healthcare institutions.

  • Identify, segment, and develop KOLs based on specialty, experience, and academic interest.

  • Provide medical information services (MIS), supporting sales teams with updated scientific knowledge, current standards of care, and resolution of physician queries.

  • Continuously update the field force on medical and product knowledge and train new recruits in coordination with the training team.

  • Collect and communicate competitive/scientific intelligence from the region to Medical Directors and Medical Affairs teams to support objection handling and sales strategies.

  • Ensure all medical and promotional activities comply with company policies, country regulations, and industry codes of practice.

  • Adapt to evolving responsibilities and initiatives as defined by the division head.

  • 3–5 years of experience in a regional medical affairs, medico-marketing, or pharmaceutical/nutrition field role.
