Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Research Nurse to join our clinical research team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing and supporting clinical trials, ensuring the well-being of patients and the integrity of the research process.
Key Responsibilities
Participant Care: Ensure the safety and comfort of patients participating in clinical trials, including monitoring their health and addressing any concerns.
Clinical Trial Support: Assist with the planning, implementation, and management of clinical research studies.
Protocol Adherence: Ensure all research activities are conducted in compliance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory guidelines.
Data Collection: Accurately record patient information, trial data, and adverse events in study documents and electronic systems.
Medication Administration: Dispense trial medications and treatments as per protocol, ensuring proper documentation.
Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, investigators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth trial execution.
Patient Education: Inform participants about the trial process, risks, and benefits, ensuring informed consent is obtained.
Inventory Management: Maintain and track trial supplies, medications, and equipment to support the study.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive and accurate records related to research activities and patient care.
Candidate Requirements
Educational Background:
General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing).
Experience:
2–5 years of experience in a hospital, clinical research, or related healthcare setting.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of clinical trial processes and GCP guidelines.
Proficiency in using clinical and research documentation tools.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate data collection and protocol adherence.
