Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct literature searches and prepare literature reports.
  • Develop and optimize analytical methods for drug products based on QbD principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Execute routine analytical research activities, including development and stability sample analysis.
  • Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as HPLC, UV, IR, Dissolution, and GC.
  • Review, evaluate, and interpret experimental and analytical data.
  • Record and maintain data as per regulatory standards.
  • Troubleshoot testing methods, stability studies, and test result issues, designing additional experiments as needed.
  • Conduct pre-formulation studies, solubility studies, forced degradation studies, and reverse engineering studies.
  • Perform reference product characterization.
  • Prepare and review specifications, method of analysis procedures, and analytical development reports.
  • Execute analytical method validation activities for drug products as per regulatory guidelines.
  • Address regulatory agency queries related to analytical methods.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: B. Pharmacy / M. Pharmacy / M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong conceptual and analytical method development/validation skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects within timelines.
    • Knowledge of analytical methods, instrumentation, QbD, DoE, and statistical interpretation.
    • Effective collaboration and teamwork skills.
